Weight Loss and Cellular Memory

- Releasing the Emotional Imprint to End Yo-Yo Dieting

by Howard Richman

If you’ve dieted and exercised to death but still can’t reach your weight loss goals, you need to deal with the “cellular memory.” Let’s say that you are successful in losing weight by some means. But after a month or two, the weight comes right back on. Why is that? Because the cells of your body have a “cellular memory” of feeling fat. You may have lost the weight, but you have not re-programmed the cells to NOT feel fat.

If the cells of your body feel fat, they will behave as if you ARE fat. This means that even if you have lost a significant amount of weight, the cells of your body will continue to trigger feelings and to send biochemical messages to your brain that states “we are fat.” So one person, who is naturally thin at 105 pounds would feel at peace with their weight. But another person who weights the same amount, who formerly had been fat will probably still feel fat.

When you feel fat, your behavior is different than when you don’t feel fat. People who feel fat, tend to have certain behaviors that work against them. These include skipping meals, fearing the food they are eating, eating in a hurry, eating standing up, eating while watching TV, eating while working. A person who does not feel fat will be more inclined to enjoy their food and to not rush and to not multi-task while eating!

As a result, the person who is naturally-thin, will tend to remain thin, whereas the person who has a cellular imprint of feeling fat, will appear thin, but will gradually gain the weight back. In fact it almost seems as if this person has a curse!

So if you want to lose weight and to keep it off, it is important to ALSO release the cellular memory of the cells. There are many, many ways that this can be done. Cellular Release Modalities offers the most comprehensive list of methods that you will find. This list includes known modalities, such as Rolfing, as well as lesser-known modalities like sound healing.

To succeed at permanent weight loss, one cannot merely address the exterior. One should look within, at the interior, at the “emotional weight loss,” so that the magnetic energy that holds weight on will be dissipated.
